With test capabilities of up to 5 kV / 100 mA AC and 6 kV / 10 mA DC, the TOS5400 Series supports compliance testing in accordance with major international safety standards, including IEC, EN, BS, VDE, UL, CSA, GB, and JIS, as well as Japan's Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act.

Equipped with a high-efficiency PWM switching amplifier, the series maintains a stable output voltage despite fluctuations in the AC supply voltage or frequency, ensuring consistent and dependable test results even in environments with unstable power conditions.

As Kikusui's first withstand voltage and insulation resistance tester series featuring a touchscreen interface, the TOS5400 offers intuitive operation, simplified test configuration, and improved workflow efficiency. Its advanced discharge detection function features adjustable sensitivity, enabling precise identification of momentary discharges and high-frequency phenomena, including arc and corona discharges.

For enhanced operational safety, the integrated Start Long function requires operators to press and hold the START button before initiating a test, reducing the risk of accidental activation.
