The b2 electronics high voltage generators offer unmatched performance in terms of both power and compactness. The HVA60 is a portable and compact VLF test set that can determine the condition of medium voltage cables. It performs VLF, DC and sheath tests, in addition to sheath fault location mode.

The HVA60 is a compact test set that can be used to determine the condition of medium-voltage cables with a voltage rating up to 46kV (acc. to IEEE 400.2-2013). It has an unmatched high voltage output power-to-weight ratio and makes it an excellent option for cable testing up to 44kVrms and 62kVpeak (sine wave operation). In addition to VLF and DC testing, the HVA60 performs sheath testing with sheath fault location mode (here, however, additional fault probe is needed).
