Description
Effective Moisture Removal from SF6 Gas
SF6 gas is widely used in medium- and high-voltage switchgear as an insulating and arc-quenching medium. However, moisture contamination can compromise its performance, contributing to the formation of toxic decomposition products, corrosion of internal components, and reduced dielectric strength.
The GAD-2000 Gas Dehydration System provides an efficient solution for reducing moisture levels in SF6 gas-filled equipment without requiring shutdown.
Continuous Dehydration During Operation
The GAD-2000 extracts SF6 gas from the equipment, removes moisture through its integrated filtration system, and returns the dried gas to the gas compartment.
An advanced dual safety system, combining SIL2 safety control with gas density monitoring, ensures safe and reliable dehydration while the switchgear remains operational.
For enhanced convenience, an optional GSM module enables remote monitoring via mobile devices, providing updates on humidity levels, estimated process completion time, and maintenance requirements, including filter replacement.
The GAD-2000 helps maintain SF6 gas quality, protect critical electrical equipment, and minimize maintenance costs and operational downtime.
