CEMBRE BA500

The BA500 cordless hydraulic crimping tool from Italian manufacturer CEMBRE is designed for crimping electrical connectors on conductors up to 300 mm². The tool uses standard dies compatible with other 50 kN crimping tools and heads.

Thanks to its innovative Adaptive Control function, the BA500 automatically adjusts the crimping force according to the connector size and stops the crimping process as soon as the dies reach their closing point. This ensures that only the necessary force is applied, avoiding the need to reach the maximum hydraulic pressure of 700 bar during every operation. The Adaptive Control function can be enabled or disabled according to the operator's preference.

The BA500 also features an intelligent connector detection system. When the dies encounter even slight resistance, their movement automatically stops, securely holding the connector in place without crimping it. This allows the operator to verify the connector's position between the dies and accurately align the conductor within the terminal before completing the crimping process.

The openable crimping head rotates 180°, providing flexibility for various applications and working positions. The BA500 features a compact, quiet, and easy-to-handle pistol-grip design, with an ergonomic handle that ensures comfortable operation, even during extended use.

For enhanced safety, the tool incorporates a double-click activation system that prevents accidental operation and provides greater control during use. An automatic shut-off function powers down the tool after three minutes of inactivity, improving safety and reducing energy consumption.

The integrated OLED display provides intuitive, real-time monitoring of key operating parameters, including:

• Applied crimping force and confirmation of successful crimping

• Battery charge level

• Completed operating cycles and remaining cycles before maintenance

• Additional operational and diagnostic information

For added convenience, the tool features an automatic rechargeable battery connection system with a dedicated control button.

Integrated SMARTOOL technology enables users to view, download, and manage recorded operating data, providing comprehensive digital monitoring and maintenance support.
